Marketo Engage
Challenge
Optimize a complicated MarTech stack and provide team training
UCI had a labor-intensive way of making mass edits across hundreds of emails and programs within Marketo. Because of this, emails were dull and rarely updated. They had also recently moved their CRM to the Salesforce Higher Education Data Architecture (HEDA) model and lacked experience.
Solution
Establish a system using templates, personalization & segmentation
GNW quickly identified ineffective systems and created a customized improvement plan implementing best practices. We also segmented audiences so UCI’s team could craft campaigns focusing on all the different stages of the funnel to ensure the right message at the right time.
Result
Increased email performance, optimized MarTech, and increased revenue
Streamlining processes and implementing templates and snippets saved valuable time and money, and increased revenue. The UCI Division of Continuing Education gained a reputation of being at the forefront of digital marketing tech and automation and began helping others on campus.
